Tampa, Florida -- The Straz Center’s Patel Conservatory Theater will present Mary Zimmerman’s adaptation of The Odyssey, Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 17-19, at 7 p.m. in the TECO Theater at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts.
Patel Conservatory students in grade seven through adult will perform The Odyssey, under the direction of conservatory Theater Department Chair Ami Sallee.
AVON PARK, Florida- The South Florida State College's Museum of Florida Art and Culture has announced its 2013-2014 season of exhibitions and programs. The museum provides an exhibition venue for contemporary Florida regional artists and works to help preserve Florida history and heritage through art. The museum also serves as a repository for the historical artifacts unearthed by members of the Kissimmee Valley Archaeological and Historical Conservancy.
