MAS Community Theater to host auditions for 'Goodbye Charlie'

Tampa, Florida- Calling all actors in the Carrollwood area!

The Carrollwood Cultural Center’s MAS Community Theatre will hold auditions for the comedy Goodbye Charlie on Sunday, July 15 and Monday, July 16 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Center, located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa.

A recent release describes the plot of the play:

"Written by George Axelrol, Goodbye Charlie is the story about Charlie, a caddish womanizer with a foul mouth and taste for booze. Killed hightailing it from a lover's husband's yacht, Charlie "returns" as a woman (cigar in hand) and gets a second chance at life and love."  

The Carrollwood Cultural Center’s MAS Community Theatre will produce the show in partnership with Samuel French, Inc. for two weekends: September 28 through September 30 and October 5 through October 7.

The show is being directed by Ruth Levy who directed Murder’s in the Heir with MAS Community Theatre in February 2012.
