A workshop on how to improve communication skills is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 21 in Brooksville.


Using a learning-based online assessment, administrators first profile attendees' natural communication style and priorities.  That assessment creates a 20-page personal profile.


The workshop is $199 for members of the Greater Hernando Chamber of Commerce and $299 for non-members.

Brooksville, FL -- Wednesday, the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a seminar on starting your own business.


The seminar will coach participants on how to market a new business, how (and why) to make a business plan and explain which licenses are needed.


The seminar is being held today from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chamber of Commerce Training Room, which is located at 15588 Aviation Loop Dr. in the Airport Industrial Park in Brooksville.

Brooksville Regional Hospital appoints new CEO

Brooksville, FL-- Effective Wednesday, Brooksville Regional Hospital has appointed Patrick Maloney as its new CEO.


"I am eager to join the dedicated associates and medical staff at Brooksville Regional Hospital," Maloney said in a statement posted on the hospital's website.


According to Brooksville Regional, Maloney has over 20 years of experience in healthcare and most recently served as CEO of Coral Springs Medical Center in south Florida.
