Local church offers fall festival as alternative to Halloween Trick or Treating | Community Spirit
As summer turns to fall and September gives way to October, many families around the Brandon area are starting to make their preparations and plans for what to do for Halloween. This year, Halloween falls on a Monday so you may be looking for something to do on Sunday to get in the "spirit".
One idea is the Fall Festival at First United Methodist Church of Brandon. The festival will take place on Oct. 30 between 5 and 8 p.m. They say it's a wholesome Halloween alternative with decorated car trunks for Trunk-N-Treat. There will also be inflatables, live music, games & crafts, face-painting.
The church only asks that you wear family-friendly costumes only (nothing scary, offensive or evil, please).
First United Methodist Church of Brandon is located just north of S.R. 60 (Brandon Blvd.), at 121 North Knights Avenue, between Kings and Parsons.
