Cops: Man attacked, stabbed over two-timing girlfriend | Crime
Tampa, Florida -- Hillsborough deputies are searching for a man who stabbed another in the head and back over a women the two were reportedly dating.
The sheriff's office say around 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, Ossnel Cazorla-Labaut and another man drove to Youlent Fonticiella's home in the 3800 block of Kimball Avenue and knocked on the door.
When Fonticiella answered, Cazorla-Labaut sucker-punched him in the face. When Fonticiella hunched over, Cazorla-Labaut pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the head.
Fonticiella, 21, ran into the front yard and was followed by Cazorla-Labaut who then stabbed him twice in the back.
Officials say Fonticiella suffered a punctured lung and is at the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives say they believe the attack may have been over a woman both men were involved with.
Detectives tracked 27-year-old Cazorla-Labaut through a GPS monitor, which he removed at some point in the day. They say he may still be driving the 2005 green Honda Accord with FL tag 113 TNI he drove to the scene of the attack.
