2 Tampa Police officers fired, 1 arrested

Tampa, Florida -- The Tampa police officer at the center of attorney Phil Campbell's DUI arrest during the MJ vs. Bubba the Love Sponge trial has reportedly been fired.

Sgt. Ray Fernandez was one of two officers fired by the department on Friday afternoon. The second officer, Jeanette Hevel, was fired and arrested on unrelated charges.

Man stabs father over a computer

Spring Hill, Florida-- A man was arrested Saturday for slicing his own father's arm during a disagreement over the family computer, a police report said Monday.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, 20-year-old Gabriel Marshall's
mother asked him to get off of the computer in the living room of their
shared home when Gabriel became angry and threw a pen at her.

His reaction upset her and a yelling match ensued, which soon woke Gabriel's father who was sleeping in the other room.

Documents add insight into Hakken kidnapping case

Tampa, Florida -- Hundreds of pages of information were made public Monday, regarding the Tampa couple who touched off an international manhunt this past April.

Joshua and Sharyn Hakken are accused of kidnapping their two non-custodial sons this past April and then taking off in a sailboat to Cuba.

Fight over stolen shoes lands two in jail

Brooksville, Florida -- Two men were arrested after suspicion over stolen shoes escalated to the men using a car and a knife as weapons in a fight.

Brooksville Police officers say Isaac Bailey III was angry at Khristian Francis after Francis allegedly stole a pair of his shoes. So, when he saw Francis riding his bicycle on Main Street, Bailey reportedly hit him with his vehicle and tried to fight him.

Hillsborough drug dealer sentenced to life in prison

Tampa, Florida -- A 39-year-old convicted drug dealer was sentenced to life in federal prison by a U.S. District judge Monday.

Throughout the six week course, citizens will have the changce to get "up close and personal" with Forensics, Uniform Patrol, Traffic Units, Administration, Investigations, Vice and Narcotics, Communications, K-9, Aviation & Marine Units and Mounted Patrol. Riot at juvenile facility raises concerns over safety and rules

Polk County, Florida -- The Avon Park Youth Academy sounds like a peaceful place, but on Saturday, it was the scene of a not so quiet riot. 

"It's a full-blown riot out here. We need some people out here. We need everyone out here we can get," urged one man during his 911 call.

Dozens of teenage boys at the juvenile detention facility overwhelmed about 20 staff members there and then, they trashed the place.
