Tampa, Florida -- A linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was arrested overnight.

Arrest records show 23-year-old Geno Hayes faces charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct. Hayes was arrested shortly after 2 a.m. Monday and bonded out a short time later.

According to Tampa Police, the incident happened at the Blue Martini Lounge at International Plaza in Tampa.

Hayes reportedly intervened after a confrontation between two disruptive men who were refused to be let inside by club security. Police and security eventually had the two men leave and instructed Hayes to return inside the lounge.

However, officials say Hayes stood at the entrance of the bar, making derogatory comments at security and police. Due to Hayes' continued disorderly behavior, he was also advised to leave the establishment.

Hayes reportedly refused and was escorted to the parking lot by a police officer, and advised not to return or risk arrest.
