Local chef featured in A&E reality series | Entertainment
Tampa, FL-- A&E is launching a new reality series called "Be the Boss", which provides everyday people with the opportunity to go from "Average Joe to CEO", and a Tampa chef will be featured in the premier this coming Sunday!
A release about the series explains the details:
On Sunday, Dec. 9th, Tampa resident Chef Shane Shaibly, corporate chef at Tampa-based Melting Pot Restaurants, will become America’s next celebrity chef! During the premiere of a new A&E reality series, under Chef Shane’s tutelage, two franchise employees compete for chance to go from Average Joe to CEO …or become owner of his very own franchise worth up to one million dollars – one of the largest prizes in television history!
According to the release, the two "Average Joes" competing in the show are under the impression they are working towards a promotion. It isn't until the very end of the show that they are let in on the true prize- the opportunity to own their own franchise and "Be the Boss".
The Emmy award winning creators of "Undercover Boss", which airs on CBS on Fridays at 8 p.m., are behind this exciting project as well.
Melting Pot restaurants are located locally in Carrollwood, Oldsmar and Clearwater. Check out the map below to find the address of the location nearest you.
