Controlled burn scheduled for Jumping Gully Preserve

Spring Hill, Fla. -- Pasco County has announced a controlled burn is planned for March 1 and 2 at the Jumping Gully Preserve. 

Pasco County Environmental Lands Acquisition and Management Program (ELAMP) will be conducting the 200-acre burn for habitat restoration under the surpervision of the Forest Service.

The burn will begin tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Jumping Gully Preserve consists of 598 acres and is located north of SR 52 and west of US Hwy 41 at 18812 Fishburne Dr. in Spring Hill.
