Downtown Partnership sponsors Hillsborough in 2040

Tampa, Florida -- Imagine Hillsborough County with 600,000 new residents and 400,000 new jobs. That's what planners are saying will happen in 27 years--by 2040.

Wondering what other changes the county may see? Then don't miss an upcoming discussion, sponsored by the Tampa Downtown Partnership, regarding what the future Hillsborough County will be and how the area will cope with the growth.

The discussion will take place on October 16 from 8 to 9a.m at Maestros, 1010 North MacInnes Place in Downtown Tampa.

Beth Alden from the Hillsborough Metropolitan Planning Organization and Randy Goes from the City of Tampa will give an update to what's called the InVision Center City Plan. In addition they will take input from the audience on what the area should prepare for.

Tickets for the breakfast event are $20 for members of the Tampa Downtown Partnership and $25 for non members. You can purchase tickets by contacting Kimberly Finn at the Tampa Downtown Partnership at 813-221-3686
