Pre-Game Easter Egg Hunt | Events
Tampa, FL – Join the Tampa Yankees on Saturday, April 23 for their 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Bill Currie Ford Lincoln Mercury.
The Tampa Yankees will be taking on the Clearwater Threshers at 6 p.m. with the gates opening at 4:30 p.m.
The 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 5 p.m. for kids 14 and under. Easter eggs will be scattered all over the outfield grass with prizes in each egg.
The Tampa Bay Chapter of the American Red Cross will be showcasing its various services; disaster preparedness, health and safety demonstrations in lifesaving techniques, services to our men and women in uniform and offering volunteer opportunities.
In addition, the Red Cross will be using its Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) to present “Red Cross for Kids”.
Once the children go through a Safety Tour of the Red Cross WHALE Tales (water safety), First Aid, Scrubby Bear (demonstrating how to wash their hands properly), they will get to go to the free face painting station.
Saturdays are Tampa Yankees Friends and Family Night sponsored by Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo.
Every Saturday home game, a special 4-pack deal is available and includes: 4 reserved tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 chips, 4 sodas, 4 Tampa Yankees caps(different theme caps will be distribute throughout the season) and 1 FREE pass to Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo for only $38. Players will be signing autographs on the concourse from 5:10 - 5:30 p.m.
There will also be a bounce house and face painter on site, as well as other activities for kids.
Individual tickets are $4 for general admission and $6 for reserved seating and can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Box Office.
