Affordable Housing Board to meet Monday

Tampa, Florida--If you are concerned about affordable housing for people who live in Hillsborough County, you might want to be at the Affordable Housing Advisory Board Meeting this coming Monday, August 5.

The board will meet at 9 a.m. on the 26th Floor of County Center in Conference Room B. County Center is located at 601 East Kennedy Blvd. in Downtown Tampa.

The Affordable Housing Advisory Board advises and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners.

Town 'N Country, Florida - The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend and participate in its annual Legislative Luncheon next month, where legislators will share their perspective on issues at the state and local level, and respond to questions from audience members.

Legislators include State Senator Jack Latvala, State Representatives J. W. Grant and Carl Zimmerman, Hillsborough County Commissioner Sandra Murman and Pinellas County Commissioner Susan Latvala.

Hernando Arts Council seeks artwork for Courthouse Centennial Celebration

Hernando County, Florida-- Calling all artists! The Hernando County Fine Arts Council is accepting artwork as a part of a competition. The best submission, they say, will be displayed at the Courthouse Centennial Celebration in October.

There are only a few rules in place for participating artists, who otherwise are encouraged to creatively depict the Courthouse in any medium of choice.
