Animal Services waives cat adoption fees through Monday

Hernando County, Florida-- Starting yesterday, June 5, and extending until Monday, June 11 at 5:30 p.m., Hernando County Animal Services is waiving the adoption fee for all cats and kittens.

According to a recent release, the only fee to take home one of these adorable pets is the $20 deposit, which will be refunded upon showing proof of sterilization and rabies vaccination.

The cats receive a feline 4-in-1 vaccination and deworming at Animal Services.

Additionally, the PetLuv Low Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic very generously provides free spay or neuter and 1-year rabies vaccinations for all animals adopted to private homes from Animal Services.

If you are a Hernando County resident, you will also receive a free one-year Hernando County Animal License for your cat upon proof of rabies vaccination.

Hernando County Animal Services encourages residents to take advantage of this limited-time-only special offer.

The Animal Services facility will be open this Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. to help provide a greater opportunity to find forever homes for more cats.

Please visit Animal Services on the web, on Petfinder, or visit the shelter at 19450 Oliver St. in Brooksville to see animals available for adoption.
