Hillsborough County Aging Services will offer free, confidential memory screenings, educational materials, and follow-up resources at five Senior Center sites on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. as part of National Memory Screening Day.

Sebring VA Community Clinic to Relocate

Sebring, FL-- The Sebring VA Community Clinic located at 3760 U.S. Highway 27 South in Sebring, Fla. will close on Nov. 16 at 4:30 p.m. and reopen to serve Veterans at a new, larger location on Nov. 19 at 8:00 a.m.

 

The new clinic building is located approximately two miles south of the current location at 5901 U.S. Highway 27 South in the Beverly Center Plaza.

Tampa, Florida -- Without Walls International Church Ladies Ministry will be hosting its 1st Annual Pretty in Pink Gala this Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.

It will be a celebration of breast cancer survivors and a special night to remember those who have passed away.

The evening will begin with appetizers, a mini fashion show by Tampa Bay's own Audrey Pat Designs, testimonies from breast cancer survivors, music, a special dance presentation and door prizes.

The Pretty in Pink Gala will be held at Without Walls International Church, located at 3860 W. Columbus Dr. Tampa.

Citrus Memorial to Host Diabetes Health Fair

Crystal River, FL-- On Wednesday, November 14, the Citrus Memorial Diabetes Center will host a Diabetes Fair as part of its ongoing effort to inform and educate the community about diabetes management, medication and preventing complications. 

The fair will be held from 9 a.m.- noon in the Citrus Memorial Auditorium, 402 Grace Street in Inverness, on the main Citrus Memorial campus. 

Health information and community resources will also be available, as well as door prizes and light refreshments.
