Seffner, FL - The Armwood Hawks were eager to get back to business on the field, after having last year's state championship and perfect season stripped away for using an ineligible play.

For the Hawks, business as usual means a stiffling defense, and a whole lot of Alvin Bailey.

On their opening possession, Armwood QB Darryl Richardson hit WR Bailey on a slant route. Bailey immediately stopped in his tracks, reversed direction, and went in for the 22-yard score.

In the second quarter, with Armwood leading 20-0, Bailey took the snap in the wildcat formation and ran nearly untouched 77-yards for his second of three touchdowns.

The other part of Armwood's game is their defense, which scored two touchdowns, and held Brandon to 72 yards of total offense.

Armwood rolls past Brandon, 55-0, spoiling the debut of new Eagles coach Dean Eychner.

After the game, Bailey announced he will be playing for University of Florida next year.

Tonight, Armwood hosts American Heritage (from Delray Beach), while Brandon heads home to host Freedom.

Bailey, who had 975 yards passing, 872 yards rushing, 404 yards receiving and  14 total TDs in 2011, chose the Gators over Notre Dame and UCF.
