Tampa, Florida-- Sickles was the unbeaten favorite on the road at winless Freedom. But the Patriots put a scare in to the Gryphon's in the first quarter. Following back to back turnovers by both teams, Freedom's Josh Callazo punched it in to the end zone giving the Patriots a 7-0 lead.

On the ensuing Sickles possession, with their backs to the goal line Ray Ray McCloud was stripped coming out of the backfield with the ball landing in the hands of Dario Kelly, who rumbled five yards in for the touchdown. Freedom grabbed a surprising 13-0 lead.

The Gryphon's weren't down long, on their next possession quarterback Isaac Holder hit Jaron Barrett with a 40 yard touchdown pass pulling Sickles with in 6. The very next time the Gryphon's touched the ball Holder went back to the air connecting with Chet Levay for another deep touchdown pass giving Sickles a quick comeback lead 14-13.

Freedom took over on downs after stopping Sickles on a fourth down and one on the Patriots 1-yard line. On Freedom's first offensive play, Sickles Josh Black punched through the offensive line to wrap up the running back for a safety padding the Gryphon's lead 16-13.

The following Sickles possession was capped by the first of three McCloud touchdowns. Sickles scored 53 straight points en route to a 53-13 victory improving to 5-0 on the season.
