Hillsborough County Sample Ballot Publication and Mailing Schedule

Tampa, FL-- Today, the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office began mailing county-wide sample ballots for the November 6 General Election to all registered voters who have not yet requested a Vote By Mail ballot.

According to the Supervisor of Elections, all registered voters are encouraged to review the sample ballot before election day because it is six pages long and "will require some time to navigate."

It reportedly includes11 proposed state constitutional amendments, a Mayoral and City Council race for voters in Temple Terrace, and a proposed amendment for residents in Plant City.

In anticipation of lines, they also encourage Hillsborough County residents to consider voting by mail as it affords voters with time to sit down with their ballot and vote at a pace of their choosing.

Residents can request a ballot online at www.VoteHillsborough.org, by calling (813) 612-4180, via e-mail at absentee@hcsoe.org, or in-person at any of the four elections offices throughout the county.

For more information or for ballot related questions, call (813) 744-5900, or visit www.VoteHillsborough.org.

Early Voting for the 2012 General Election is available from October 27 through November 3, with hours of operation from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
