Burglar busted in Brooksville processing plant

Brooksville, FL-- A remote security camera monitor, a processing plant owner and Hernando County Sheriff's deputies all worked together Thursday to catch a burglar in the act.

According to reports, the security cameras at Cal-Main Foods processing plant in Brooksville are monitored remotely.

When the person watching the cameras noticed an intruder inside the building, they notified the owner, Mr. Earle Hunnicutt, who then alerted the Sheriff's Office.

Hunnicut, who remained in contact with the person monitoring the cameras, was able to provide deputies on scene with the exact location of the burglar inside.

Deputies and supervisors surrounded the plant to make sure the suspect did not get away, and because of Hunnicut's information, were prepared to catch him when he tried to escape through a conveyor belt door.

Reports say deputies arrested Timothy Dean StClair, 52, and took him to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office for questioning about this crime, and potential others.

They later took StClair to the Hernando County Detention Center and set his bond at $5,000.
