Brandon to get first free standing First Watch restaurant this summer

Brandon, Florida -- Tampa Bay's first free standing First Watch restaurant is opening in Brandon.

The restaurant says they will open this summer on Causeway Boulevard. It will take over the building that used to be Blinds to Go in the Lake Brandon Village shopping center with Lowe's and Sports Authority.

First Watch has 37 restaurants in Florida and more than 100 across the U.S. Chief marketing officer Chris Tomasso says they've received more requests to open a retaurant in Brandon than any other area.

First Watch features a breakfast/brunch that includes tradtional favorites like pancakes, omelets, salads and sandwiches, along with freshly prepared specialties.
