Roads and homes flooded at Camper's Holiday

Brooksville, FL -- Residents living at Camper's Holiday in Brooksville got roughly 7 inches of rain in two hours Thursday night, causing street flooding and forcing some to evacuate.

"It came up real quick," said Camper's Holiday HOA President Norn States about the water.

States estimated about 80 of the community's 300 homes were affected by the water.

Several streets in the 55 and older community remained flooded on Friday with more rain in the forecast. States said officials had to use boats on Thursday night to evacuate some of the residents.
