Voter info cards mailed to Hernando Co. residents

Hernando Co., FL -- Voting precincts and polling places have changed based on new census information and the new House District lines drawn by the state.

To notify residents of their new districts, voting precincts, and polling places, Hernando County Voter Information Cards have been mailed to voters registeres in Hernando County. The cards should be arriving in mailboxes daily.

Voters can call 352-754-4125 with any questions about the changes.

Tampa, Florida-- Head to the Northdale Recreation Center tonight to "Meet the Candidates" during the voter registration drive!

According to the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office, the event will last until 9:30 tonight.

The Northdale Recreation Center is located at 15550 Spring Pine Dr., Tampa, FL 33624.

Tampa, Florida -- The Hillsborough Board of County Commissioners gets suggestions on issues before it from the Citizens Advisory Committee.

The Committee will hold its July meeting from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. this Friday, July 27, in the Planning Commission Boardroom on the 18th floor of County Center 601 E. Kennedy Blvd in Downtown Tampa.

Post office received over 65,000 primary election Vote By Mail ballots

Hillsborough County, Florida--  Earl Lennard, Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections, announced the delivery of 65,186 domestic Vote By Mail Ballots to the post office yesterday, July 16, 2012. 

Any registered voter may request, receive and cast a Vote By Mail Ballot, as long as the delivery of a Primary Election ballot is requested by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

Carrollwood, Florida - North Tampa residents have a chance to question those running for office during a meet and greet on July 25.

The event will be held at the Northdale Recreation Center at 15550 Spring Pine Drive.

Residents can meet and talk to the candidates at 6:30 p.m. and then the candidates will speak starting at 7 a.m.

The Northdale Civic Association is sponsoring the event.

Numerous candidates speaking include those running for sheriff as well as other offices.

Brandon, Florida-- Political columnist and panelist on the Fox News Watch show will speak at Bell Shoals Baptist Church on the Sunday morning before the Republican National Convention

He will be the guest speaker at the 8:15 and 11 a.m. Worship Services. He will also hold a Q & A session at 1 p.m.
