Jim Elftmann at Grille 54 opened their doors to about sixty of their new Upper Tampa Bay Chamber best friends as they cut the ribbon to the newest location, found at 11935 Sheldon Road, on Jan. 19.

Tampa, FL -- Back by popular demand, Kona Grill's "1st Thursdays" will feature a menu of items like assorted sushi, Korean BBQ chicken satay, sweet and spicy shrimp, and various beer and wine (and more!).


The launch of their monthly theme parties kicked off with an all-inclusive "Fire and Ice" party with fire dancers and a live salsa band.

Rare wine found in Bern's cellar

Tampa, Florida - Bern's Steakhouse features the largest restaurant wine collection in the world with nearly 500,000 bottles. So maybe it shouldn't come as a surprise that every once in a while the sommeliers at Bern's discover a few hidden treasures in the restaurant's wine cellar.

But senior sommelier Eric Renaud says he's never uncovered a treasure like the one he made a few months ago.

"I saw this bottle on its side, tucked the wrong way with a few bottles in front of it. So I moved the bottles out of the way, I rolled the bottle over and I looked at it and I thought, 'Oh my God,'" Renaud said.

Renaud found a 1947 bottle of Chateau Latour.

"I don't think there's anyone in this business who wouldn't get excited about a wine like this," Renaud added.

The rare Bordeaux will be included on Bern's new wine list when it's released next month.
