Man arrested for smashing hamburger into woman's face

Spring Hill, Florida -- An apparent food fight has landed a Hernando County man in jail.

26-year-old Sean Felipe Campbell is charged with domestic battery and violating his probation after he allegedly grabbed a hamburger that Gale Deem was eating and then smashed it into her face.

Deputies arriving at Campbell's home reported finding Deem with pieces of hamburger on her face and in her hair, as well as bits of burger scattered about the floor.

Campbell claimed he only smacked the burger out of the woman's hand, and did not hit her in the face with it.

Tampa, Florida -- Stranded manatees on Bayshore, yes. Large sharks... not so much.

Photos have begun circulating on social media sites that claim to show a large shark swimming down a flooded Bayshore Boulevard.

Cops: Woman assaults Post Office customer

Brooksville, Florida -- A Wisconsin woman was arrested Monday for battery after police say she hit another customer at a Brooksville Post Office.

Officers say Linda Burke became physical during an argument with another customer at the Post Office in the 19100 block of Cortez Boulevard. She was seen by a witness pushing, kicking and hitting the victim with her tote bag. It is not known what the two were arguing about.

Officers arrested Burke while she waited at a Greyhound Bus Station. She has been charged with Battery and is being held on $500 bond.

Beer thieves caught after getaway truck gets stuck

Tampa, Florida -- Two men were arrested Wednesday after they stole almost 30 cans of beer from a Tampa distributing company.

The sheriff's office says Timothy Becker and Edward Carpenter, Jr. crawled under the fence of J.J. Taylor Distributing Company on 16th Avenue S and stole $80 worth of Crispin Natural Hard Apple Cider from the warehouse dock. They fled but were caught after Carpenter's truck became stuck on nearby railroad tracks.

Man hits 8 cars, light pole while beating woman in car

Brandon, Florida -- A man seen punching a woman while driving on a major road in Brandon was arrested moments after he caused over $50,000 in damage to other vehicles in his path.

Authorities say on May 21 around 10:45 p.m., Varance Hibbett was heading east on Brandon Boulevard near Lithia Pinecrest Road when witnesses saw him punching a woman and grabbing her by her hair as she tried to get out of the car. Witnesses also told police they heard him say to the woman, "I'll kill you..."

Thieves steal $10,000 in cigarettes

Valrico, Florida -- Police are searching for two men who robbed a Shell gas station of $10,000 worth of cigarettes.

According to the sheriff's office, on May 1, around 3:30 a.m., the men arrived in a sedan and parked outside the store at 2819 State Road 60.
