Photo Gallery | Sebring hosts Poilce K-9 "Olympics"

 

Sebring, Florida– The Lakeland Police Department is "top dog" in the U.S. Police Canine Association's Region 1 Field Trials and Certifications.

More than 70 law enforcement K-9's participated in this year's event, hosted for the first time by the Highlands County Sheriff's Office. Events were held are various venues across Highlands County including the public display at the Sebring High School's football field.

Ted Sealey and his dog "Bruno" of the Lakeland Police Department placed first overall. In fact, Lakeland had 6 of the top 10 dogs in this year's regional competition. Lake Whales and North Port Police K-9 teams also finished in the top 10.
