Police say they worked with the State Attorney's to create the PEZ program, or the "Prostitution Enforcement Zone."

"Along the Nebraska corridor and Florida Avenue is where 70 percent of our prostitution activity and arrests are," said Castor.

PEZ runs between 15th Street and Florida Avenue from Fowler Avenue to the north and 7th Avenue to the south. The new prostitution zone also comes with new laws for offenders.

If prostitutes are caught more than three times in the PEZ, they'll face felony charges for violating probation, according to Tampa Police.

During a two day operation in the Prostitution Enforcement Zone, police say they arrested 25 people for prostitution related offenses.
